Problems with spam comments in "Header"

    Hi, recently i have been getting – A new comment on the post “header” is waiting for your approval https://sculpturefactory.org/header/ – I have no post called header, it is an image from my header slideshow which comes with my theme gk-portfolio. So am wondering if anyone has an idea how to stop this

    Hi Melanie,

    That’s the attachment page for the image, it has comments enabled. You can disable them from the media library:

    1. In wp-admin, go to Media / Library.
    2. Find the header image, click on it to edit.
    3. At the bottom right, “Edit more details”.
    4. At the top right, click Screen Options.
    5. Check the Discussion box.
    6. Scroll down to Discussion, and uncheck Allow Comments.
    7. Click Update.

    Once you’ve done that, the comment form should disappear from the attachment page.
