Problems with slideshow

Hello,

I choose Arras Theme and I′m working my blog with two colums layout. I tried but I can′t, to change the size of slideshow into this kind of layout. I′m tried to change the slideshow.php script but not happens. The layout is too ugly with this erro. How can I do? Thanks
