    Exact same issue. It breaks the sitemaps. Both regular and will not update the News sitemap. I had to downgrade my version to get things back working. Especially on the news sitemap.

    Erm, just installed the plugin, no xml sitemap appearing at all, going to a 404.

    I had the same issue — xml going to a 404 error page. I had to go in and disable the xml option –> save changes. Then I ticked the box and saved changes again. When I clicked on the xml sitemap button, my sitemaps showed up. It’s worth a try for all of you having issues ?? Good luck!

    @itpow it resolves alright, it’s just that another plugin/theme or server extension is inserting code into it which breaks the sitemap.

    This is what the inserted code starts with:
    <script type="text/javascript">window.NREUM||(NREUM={})

    Don’t blame WPSEO for something which is caused by others.

    Hi ??

    Tried disable/save, enable/save (xml sitemap) didn’t change anything ??

    @jrf Sorry I don’t understand what you mean ?? I could not see the code you mentioned in my sitemap. Could you help by providing more info ?

    Regards

    @itpow I see the inserted code when I browse to the sitemap using FireFox.
    Are you by change using New Relic monitoring enabled from W3TC ?

    @jrf Thanks for your help. It explains it. Do you think is it the same one?

    @itpow I very much suspect it is.

    I am also having the invalid date problem. I am using the latest version of the plugin. Anyone found a fix?

    Regards,
