problems with since my site was updated to new version 4.2.3

  • Hello,

    About to days ago I got a notice saying my site has been updated. Since then I have several issues such as taking a long time to load, not retrieving images, and it has been down several times.

    Also it is not updating these two plugins:
    – Jetpack by WordPress, trying to update from 3.6 to 3.6.1.
    – Events Calendar: from 3.10.1 to 3.11.

    Every time I try to update the site goes down and went it comes back up it didn’t update

  • Same here. Some of my sites suddenly seem to have zero plug-ins, another one stopped meteor-sliders. One of my sites was so f’d-up, I had to restart with all plugins “deleted” (Well, I just added some chars in front of the foldername).

    Hope we can find the solution soon!

    Some more fooling around: At one site (where I had to de-activate all plug-ins) the meteor now is not a slider but a set of jpegs, one under the other. https://www.johnpeter.eu
    At another site the meteor sliders are hidden. (www.brocantelinnen.nl)
    In the inspector I noticed something was programmed to be hidden so I’m in fear there’s some serious coding needed. (I could see the pictures through the links in the source page (ctrl-U) so that’s a weird thing.
