Problems with setting static Home page

  • Here is my web site: https://dostoino-est.org/blog/

    I wanted to set a default static page called: “Welcome!” in Bulgarian “Добре Дошли!”. When I enter my site, this static page is displayed, which is good. But when I click on the link “Welcome” on the right I am redirected to the last post, not to the static page, although I checked, that this link is responsible for the main page!!!

    Any Ideas?

  • When I look at your site I see your posts page…not a static page. If you want the welcome page to be your static page, then go to the admin area and in Settings/Reading check “A static page” and then select your welcome page in the dropdown.

    Thanks for the answer. I did like you said, but I returned it back, so it can work.

    I will make it again so you can see it.
