problems with sending the invoice

Hi i have problems with sending invoices to my customers.
Sometimes is the invoice attached in the confirmation e-mail, but sometimes not.
I didn′t find any key or repeating situation, why does it happens? Do you have any ideas?Thank you very much for your answer.
