• Hello, how are you?

I hope you can help me. I searched extensively for a solution to what’s happening on my site, but I have not found it yet.

I requested the installation of an SSL certificate on a website. The site always worked normally, with image uploads and updates of themes and plugins occurring normally. But from the moment I requested the installation of SSL certificate, I can no longer do updates and uploads by wordpress admin.

Initially, I did the quickest and most practical procedures to enable SSL on WordPress: I added the “s” to the http in the settings, and I installed the Really Simple SSl plugin. Worked perfectly. But I started having the problem described above. I undid the process and the problem is gone.

I then left for the most complete change, making changes in .htaccess and wp-config, also changing the addresses, to include HTTPS in all links. It worked, too, but the update and upload problem returned.

For updates via theme, I have no problems (updates as theme resources, texts). Also for updating pages I have no problems.

The errors I’m having are these:

Sending images: Failed to send “”.
The file is empty. Send something more substantial. This error could also have happened if file uploading is disabled in your php.ini or if the post_max_size setting is less than the upload_max_filesize setting in php.ini.

Updating plugins and themes: An error occurred while updating All-in-One WP Migration: The directory could not be created.

I contacted the person responsible for the hosting service to verify the parameters in php.ini and also the file permissions. They are all correct.

I do not know what could be happening. The site works normally in the secure environment, but in the admin part, I’m having these problems.

Could anyone shed light on how to proceed? A help?

    Thank you in advance!

    Abs …
