    Hello,

I’m facing an issue with WPForms. The website experiencing these problems has forms that redirect to Redsys. We’ve noticed that most transactions on Redsys are resulting in the following error: “?wpfr-api=wpfr-api -1 Read timed out.” Payments remain pending as the transaction is not completed on Redsys.

    Thank you.

    Hi @manuelpunzanoinstint,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Currently, we don’t have an integration with Redsys. I’ve made a note of the feature request and we’ll keep it on our radar to be reviewed as we plan out our roadmap for the future.

That said, I’m unsure if I understand the issue you reported. When you get a chance, please let me know more details on how you’re integrating WPForms with Redsys, and if you expect that WPForms will generate a payment when a transaction is sent to Redsys.

    Thanks!

    Hello, Shawon.

Sorry, I need to inform you about another different error that I believe you can help us with. We are experiencing the following problem which occurs randomly. There are some forms that, for some reason we do not understand, give us the message “The form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator.”

We have seen that this message is a response from the file admin-ajax.php. We are trying to find out the reasons why this error might be occurring. We have ruled out the issue being related to the data entered in the form because using the same data sometimes works and sometimes does not.

    Hello @manuelpunzanoinstint ,

I am sorry to hear about this trouble!

Please know that problems with form submission often result from a conflict between the cached site and the anti-spam protection feature in WPForms. I recommend taking a look at our guide on troubleshooting cache settings.

To fix this kind of issue, there are some options:

    1) Set a site cache lifespan of around 45 hours should be sufficient to avoid submission errors.

    2) You can change the cache lifetime of the WPForms form token, and for this, please check out this article in the WPForms developer docs. Please note that this requires editing your website’s code, and is recommended for developers.

    3) You can disable the anti-spam protection feature in your forms. If this works for you, you can use one of our other anti-spam options available on WPForms.

In case the issue continues after following the options above, could you please share the URL where is the form? That way, I can take a look to check the issue.

    Thanks!
