• I just noticed that tracking stopped working a bunch of sites on December 19th, only the ones where I use the proxy script for tracking.

When I switch to standard tracking it’s working fine.

    Any ideas?

Did you check if you get any JavaScript errors if proxy tracking is enabled? This may help to identify the issue.

Same here, console says …/plugins/wp-piwik/proxy/matomo.js net::ERR_ABORTED 404 (Not Found)

Btw, I’m using bedrock with another folder structure. But I don’t think this causes the error.

No proxy errors and still not working :/

    For example on https://www.sling-trainer-tipps.de

@f10w Of course, a different folder structure may break the tracking – the error message you posted shows that the embedded matomo.js is not found. Maybe you have to modify the tracking code or use your own proxy script to get this working.

@chridi If you don’t get any error in your browser’s console, did you check your server log file? Is the tracking code integrated as expected?

With the next update (coming this week) I’ll also update the proxy script, but I can’t promise this will fix your issue.
