problems with posting links

    I’m not quite sure how to explain this problem…

    The main site is a wordpress blog in the root directory… works fine.

    I installed a second wordpress blog in a seperate/sub directory… everytime I click a link to a post or page in the subdirectory it redirects back to the indext page of the main blog in the root directory…

    Main site: https://www.drarndt.com

    Subdirectory: https://www.drarndt.com/clients/

    for the general options I do have
    https://www.drarndt.com/clients for the wordpress/blog address.

    If you click any of the category, post links etc. they redirect to the main site index page. I experience this problem in both IE and FF

    Did is set something up wrong?
    I used a completely different database for this blog on the subdirectory.

  • Does the WP install in the subdirr have its own .htaccess file? If yes, you didn’t just copy over from the root, did you?

    This was a install but didn’t have the .htaccess file… I always keep blank on .htaccess on hand for such purposes.

    I uploaded the the blank,updated it and everything works fine.
