    Hi all,

I’ve struck some trouble with trying to change permissions through filezilla.

Filezilla doesn’t seem to be changing the permissions properly. I was attempting to change the permissions in order to get the global translator to work. Which I couldn’t, then trying to change it back to 644 has proved impossible!
For some reasons the permissions keep defaulting to 750, meaning that when I try to view the website I get Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What is going on and how do I change the permission!!!

Have now sorted out permissions by changing them through cpanel. I can now access all the folders again.

However – I still cannot gain access to the website.
Am completely stumped. All my permissions are set to either 644 or the main directories such as wp-content are set to 744.

    Any ideas?
