• Hello. Hopefully someone can help. I have recently moved from wp.com to wp.org. Since then I have received absolutely zero likes for any new post since the migration and no notifications. Also my new blog wasn’t appearing on the reader until I inserted a RSS feed into the sidebar. This made by posts appear but without the tags and I am told that users were unable to like the post. On my blog where the wordpress ‘like button’ is, it constantly says loading. Can someone please help as I am a new blogger and need to expand my audience. My wp.org is https://www.travelshutter.net and the old wp.com is travelshutter.wordpress.com.

    Please help :/

    Paul

  • Self-hosted WP.ORG sites don’t have all of the same “networking” features of WP.COM sites – because they aren’t part of the network. Some of the features are possible through the JetPack plugin – do you have that set up on your new site and did you have your followers moved by the .COM people?

Hi Wpyogi. Thanks for helping! Yes the .com guys moved my follows and yes I have jetpack set up but I have seen on other peoples .org sites that myself can like their posts, this is something I don’t think is possible with mine for some reason. I just don’t understand when my old posts (the ones I posted on .com) are still getting likes but my new posts are getting nada! Plus like I said before, my like button is constantly saying loading! Please try and help me!!!! You would make my day!

I really don’t know how JetPack works, so I think your best bet is to ask the JetPack developers for help here:

That said, you could try deactivating your plugins, including JetPack, then reactivate JetPack – and reconnect it to your .COM account, and see if it works.
