Problems with nextgen gallery photos not showing

I have installed nextgen gallery on my site, it seems to be what I need to show my shoots. I uploaded a folder of photos to a gallery, deleted the bad ones out and tried to put it in a post. So far so good. Problem is none of the photos are showing! What am I doing wrong
