Problems with Nextgen gallery

I have 2 wordpress sites i am developing..in each site I am using Nextgen gallery to do slideshows…on both sites the slideshow works well..exceot for one thing….the very first picture in the slide always begins mis-alligned..meaning it always has to ‘shift’ itself over to left about an inch before the slideshow begins..once that fist picture shifts and aligns itself..all the following pictures show perfectly….help…thanks
