I am experimenting with a new domain and making a copy of my web site from another domain. I exported it from the first and imported it into the second.

It looks like the borders are larger and the font is smaller..

    Is this normal?
    Did I do something wrong?
Is there a global fix for this?

    vb.professorsplace.info (Original)
    sa.professorsplace.info (Second and under construction)

  • It looks like you have a child theme on your old site – but you don’t have that set up yet on your new site. So the child theme styles are not showing on the new one. You need to manually copy the child theme folder to the new site and then activate the child theme…then you should see the old styles in the new site.

I have been looking around but don;t seem to be able to find this “child”. Both of these sites were set up for me and that person is not immediately available to help me wit this one.

I can log in to the site where my WP files are kept but don;t wee where this file is that should be copied.

Yes, took me a while to get back to this but it is now working. Thanks…
