  • Most likely, when you upgraded to 2.0.3, not all of the files got copied correctly, or some of the old files remain.

    See this page, especially the section on the detailed upgrade where it has you delete the old files before adding the new.

    Any other ideas anyone! I cant blog!!

    Look in the wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php file. If you don’t see this line somewhere (do a text search), then you know you’re still using the old file from 2.0.2 which doesn’t include it:

    function wp_get_cookie_login() {

    If it’s missing, probably other files didn’t get replaced too. Delete everything (except those files such as wp-config.php and wp-content, etc., that the directions I linked to above say to keep), and try again. It’s not that you didn’t follow instructions; sometimes ftp programs don’t do everything you want them to.
