Problems with local installation with MAMP Pro

Hi there,
I’ve installed the same database locally im running on my webhoster, but made all the right settings in wp_options table and so on.

Problem now is, if I try to run my installation with https://localhost:8888/wordpress it is running over and over but never displays the front page.

But reaching the admin side with https://localhost:8888/wordpress/wp-admin is no problem.

Any ideas?
