Problems with large attachments

  • Hello,

    I have a form with several fields for submitting photos to competition.
    Everything works fine if the file size of the photos is relatively small (aprox 1MB).
    If the files are larger, which they have to be for proper printing, contact form does not terminate at all.

    Any idea how to fix it. Upload file size has been set much larger thant the limit in contact form.

  • Check you upload file size limits with your WordPress hosting provider. Setting larger limits will not help if they are over-ridden by hosting provider policies.

    Default setting is at 40MB.
    For some reason the WordPress media upload says 1MB but accepts larger files with single upload.

    Contact Form 7 is set to 6MB per File.

    When testing the files are 2-5MB, there is no error message prompted, just the little rotating image after klicking “submit” never stops.
