• Ok, im working on a website (its based on WordPress 3.0 beta 2), and i installed a security plugin (to test, ya what an idiot i am >.<). Well that plugin added some security around the website (i guess .htaccess files) which im not sure how to fix.
Right now im trying to move my files from localhost to “live/web host” but im having trouble cause once im done moving, the site`s settings revert to default :/

    what i did to import:
took a backup of the site with:
    BackUpWordpress plugin,
edited the database’s links https://localhost/name URL to my new URL
    imported the database
copied the files and edited the wp-config.php with the new URL again

and i get this problem now.

for the record im using the Arras Theme

the site`s settings revert to default

What does that mean? I mean, which settings? The security plugin?

If you think it’s the htaccess file, did you copy them up?

    Also, WHICH security plugin? ??

Im not sure which plugin exactly, i was dumb enough to randomly test plugins in my final design :S

It revert almost all the theme settings (im using the Arras Theme)
+ few more settings in the admin panel
