Problems with Home Top Feature

Hi all,

I’m using Blackbird 1.2.3, and I’m having trouble with the Home Top Feature. I want to keep a photo there (though I’m going to switch out the photo I have there now), but I want to remove the grey box on the bottom right hand corner. I’ve tried messing around with the CSS as much as I’m comfortable with, and I haven’t gotten anywhere. Which brings me to my other question:

In the course of messing with the style sheet to try to get rid of that box, I somehow messed with my site’s title/tagline display. Bear with me here, I’m not really familiar with this stuff, but my issue is what is displayed at the top of the browser window when my page is open, I’m not sure what the correct terminology is. You’ll see that now, my page’s URL is displayed, when what I would like (and what was there before I messed with the CSS) was Julianne Meisner | Relief Veterinarian, Southern California. How do I get this back?
