Problems with Google Analytics

    Hello, I discovered and installed Compliantz the day before yesterday before subscribing.
    For many years in Google Analytics I have about 500 visits to my site per day and more than 1300 views each day.
    Since I installed Compliantz Google Analytics shows about 50 visits per day and 80 views.
    I think I made a mistake somewhere.
    Can you help me or should I remove Compliantz?

    Hello @evolute2,

    If you had configured Complianz to block Analytics until consent has been obtained for the Statistics category, that would clarify the change in the amount of registered visits in Analytics.

    As in that case, only the users who at least accepted the Statistics category in the Cookie Banner would get registered as a pageview in Analytics.

    You can also configure Complianz to load Analytics without asking for consent, but keep in mind that that might not be in compliance as per the regulations of your targeting region(s).

    Under Wizard – Consent – Statistics Configuration you should have the question, do you want to as consent for statistics?

    -> No, should work.

    Hi @evolute2,

    I actually meant; Do you want to ask consent for statistics?

    But for this, you need to do one extra step, check all three checkboxes under statistics (the previous step in the wizard). If you then continue, you will get this question.

    If people accept, google statistics will work
    If people refuse, google statistics will also work.
