Problems with Forum-based Layout

I created a layout for my website that resembles a forum and I just installed WordPress. I’m trying to get WordPress to co-operate with the forum-based design and have succeeded to a certain extent but are still having troubles with the individual posts.

As you can see, there is a box that looks like it is a post in the forum. What I’m trying to achieve is to have each post in WordPress contained in a seperate box. But when I tried it on earlier today, the first post and the second post got meshed together.

And also, the last blue box contained links to WordPress, NHK and Demulesca should have been outside the post box… just as the top box stating “| Demulesca > Brown Cube Thoughts”.

Can anyone help with this?
