I’ve had reports from users that in IE 11, form submission yields a blank page without successful submission of form datas if the user takes too long submitting the form. Is there a time limit on submission or a setting we can adjust for this? If the time is not the issue, any ideas on what the issue may be?

Please let me know if you need additional information.

This is the URL of the form: https://fasab.gov/technical-inquiries-2/

Thanks in advance for your response.

Just another thought — could this be related to the CAPTCHA code?

    Hi @smithtgaogov,

Can you please check does it actually submit the form and don’t show the successful message or form is not getting submitted at all?

You can check this by entering form maker > submissions section.

There no time set for filling in the form, the problem is not with time.

Good morning. The submissions that are made after 10-15 minutes are not going through on IE 11. There are no confirmation emails or data recorded on the submission section. The user only sees a blank screen returned. When using the back button to get back to the form – the submitted data is gone and the user must restart the data entry process.

On Chrome, the submissions that are submitted after a comparable length of time give the user with an invalid Captcha code alert. After the user submits the refreshed code, the data is successfully submitted.

I did some tests with a duplicated form on IE 11 not using the captcha feature. I did not experience the same problems. The organization that sponsors the form does want the captcha to be a part of the form, however.

Any ideas how to get around this? If I do a multiple page form could this help?

Good morning. I replaced the simple captcha with the recaptcha field. It appears to be working properly with delayed form submission. Thank you for looking into this.

    Hello @smithtgaogov,

Thanks for getting back to me.

It’s great that you could find an alternative solution, as we were not able to replicate the issue on IE 11 by waiting some 15-20 minutes before submitting your form.
