• Hallo people,

I am new at wordpress so please be gentle :-).
I have a problem with the great plug-in “events-manager”. Especially with the function to display my events in a RSS Feed.
The main problem is that i don′t know the exact RSS-URL to the Feeds. On the website of the “events-manager”-guy′s i read about the shortcodes [events_rss_url] and [events_rss_link]. I integrate this in the following Site:
    https://mrsc.cwsurf.de/?page_id=6

When i am following the link(s) i just get the normal event-page and not a rss-page where I can subscribe to this Feed.
What I am doing wrong? I use the newest Version 4.0.82

The second thing i am interested in is to syndicate my blog feeds with the event-feeds when the whole homepage is complete.
Is that possible for example with the plug-in “FeedWordPress”?

    Thanks a lot.

  • You reminded me that I didn’t get this working in a previous version, so now I will attempt to get it working… and for those that want to know where everything’s coming from this is documenting my route. I cannot help anybody, I can only document my own route to success/failure ??

The page to read is here https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/shortcodes/

    It says:

    [events_rss_url]

Displays the events RSS url (e.g. “https://yoursite.com/?dbem_rss=main”)

So, I tried putting my domain name into that and typing it into the address bar of my browser, I hit the Enter key and waited – and about 15 seconds later I got the rss feed for my events calendar, which turned out to be:

    https://mysite.com/the-path-to-my-events-page/rss

To remain “anonymous”, let’s say that my site is about events in toytown, then my rss feed is at:

    https://mysite.com/events-in-toytown-whats-on/toytown-events-diary/rss

This is because I created a page called: events-in-toytown-whats-on
Then I created a page under that called: toytown-events-diary

I hope that makes sense to somebody ??
