Problems with e-mail

Hi! I’m having some trouble with this plugin. As an administrator, I’m not receiving any email at all (e.g. notifying the admin of a newly registered user). I suppose the email account where the plugin is sending the emails is the same as the administrator account at WordPress, am I right? What can be causing this problem?
