Problems with duplicate products

    The galleries are based on images that are “attached” to the product. Images can only be attached to a single post/page/custom post type, though images can be the featured image on more than one post/page/cpt.

    Uh, am I understanding this correctly ?

    Assume I have a car shop and I want to show 5 products; the same car in 5 different colors (I know what variations can do; I don’t want to).

    They have different colors so the featured image is different. But they all have the same interior. I want to show the same interior picture with all 5 products, does that mean that I have to upload the same file 5 times ?
