Problems with domain name

  • I recently switched from a wordpress.com to a www.remarpro.com. I had my domain name set up with the wordpress.com, and I deleted the wordpress.com website without transferring the domain name. I am using bluehost and I have already changed the nameservers with godaddy to reflect that I am using bluehost. The URL for my website keeps coming up as “https://74.220.219.108/~lbjliber/” instead of “lbjliberator.com” like i want it to.

  • You need to transfer the domain name to your new host. If you bought the domain name separately from your wordpress.com hosting, go to your domain name registrar to get the details you need to transfer the domain name to your new host. If wordpress.com provided the domain name, you will need to work with them to transfer your domain name.
