    Hi guys,

Just wondering if there is an incompatibility issue with the new Divi 4.0 Theme Builder?

I was playing around with a Global Footer and when i made it and checked the site i got a WSOD… I disabled all plugins and site came back (rather crippled ofcourse).

I then went through the plugins one by one and as soon as i deactivated Asset CleanUp it all worked. Enabling Asset CleanUp and the WSOD was back.

This leads me to suspect something is going horribly wrong somewhere.

Any clues on where in Asset CleanUp the problem may be?

Oh, i forgot to mention that this even happens when logged in. I can access the admin panel just fine but as soon as i click “Visit Site” i get a WSOD… This seems weird since Asset CleanUp shouldn’t do anything when logged in.

@jarnek that’s surprising as I noticed Asset CleanUp is active and everything seems to work fine. It should work the same when you’re logged in. Note that any settings you applied will also take effect if you’re logged in. Asset CleanUp doesn’t interfere with the Dashboard (no unloading is done there), but in the front-end it does trigger.

One of the best ways to debug this is to get the error logs from the server. Often, the clue lies there as you might get an error (could be an incompatibility with the latest Divi theme, if that’s the case it will be immediately fixed) from an Asset CleanUp PHP file. Can you send me on private your “System Info” from “Tools” (Asset CleanUp’s menu) via https://gabelivan.com/contact/?

@jarnek as this turned out to be unrelated to Asset CleanUp, but to “Divi Ultimate Header Plugin” as we discussed in private, I’ll mark this topic as “resolved”. Asset CleanUp has been working fine with Divi 4.0.2 in my tests.
