Hello, i was wandering if you could help me solve this problem. The cache is showing a weird behavior. When we post some article or news in the Homepage, some users can see the modifications and some don’t. For some users it takes a while to see the new posts. I had to disable the pages cache because of the complains. The cache is available only for posts now. How can i optimize that? Thanks in advance.

    Hi @wandersoncs,

Sorry to hear about the issues noticed. Could we know do you have the “Clear full cache when post/page is updated” option enabled under Hummingbird > Caching > Page Cache?

In general, such instances would occur if the cache doesn’t get cleared, so making sure whether the “Clear full cache when post/page is updated” option is enabled would be the start.

Could we also know whether you have any server-side cache enabled? If yes, could you please confirm whether “Purge Varnish caching” and “Purge OpCache” settings are enabled under Hummingbird > Caching > Page Cache?

Also, do double-check whether “File Change Detection” is set to “Automatic” under Hummingbird > Caching > Settings.

Please do let us know how that goes and if you still face issues after the mentioned changes.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

    H @wandersoncs,

Sorry for the delay in getting back. Could we know whether you notice this with any specific section of your homepage or all the sections on the homepage doesn’t show up the latest post?

One of the common use cases would be if you have server cache enabled, could you please check whether there is any cache enabled by your hosting provider? Could you please check whether it makes any difference if that’s disabled?

Please do let us know how that goes so that we could have a better idea. Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
