Problems with Bylines

We are having two problems with bylines in IssueM

1) Bylines are showing up on the current issue page, but they are not links that will ultimately show the author’s archive. We are not a generic wordpress template. How can we get the bylines to link to all that authors articles?

2) Under each single post, bylines are not showing at all. I think I know where to add the code (under single.php or single-article.php) but get_issuem_author_name( $post ) did not work. I imagine if #1 is solved (how to link to author’s archive) then #2 will be solved also.
