Problems with breadcrumbs.

    Hi all,

    Having a bit of a problem with the Yeost breadcrumbs. The breadcrumbs is working fine. So Home >> Product >> Example is fine, yet just above it it is duplicated with the regular Home >> Product >> Example found at the top of each page normally. (I hope this makes sense.)

    Is there anything I can do about this or is it normal to have the usual one and the breadcrumbs one both on the page.

    Sorry I’m not too smart when it comes to some things!

    Just to be clear, you are getting duplicate Yoast SEO Breadcrumbs on a product page? If so, we would like some more information.

    A. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    B. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v9.6?

    C. If you go to SEO-Search Appearance-Breadcrumbs and disable them, what happens? Do both disappear or only one?

    D. Did you implement the breadcrumbs by copy/pasting a code into your site’s files? This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/implement-wordpress-seo-breadcrumbs/.

    If so, can you confirm that the code is only in ONE file and not multiple? If you are not sure how to check your theme’s files, please contact your theme developer.

    Many thanks for your reply it’s really appreciated.

    No it is only the one breadcrumb, the other is the standard navigation (or is it possible this is breadcrumbs too?

    Sorry I am really a total n00b when it comes to things like this. ??

    No worries, we are glad to troubleshoot but we need your help. Were you able to provide us with that information? We ask as it would help us troubleshoot the issue and rule out possible causes.

    If not, please let us know the following:

    1. Is everything updated?

    2. If you go to SEO-Search Appearance-Breadcrumbs and disable them, what happens? Do both disappear or only one?
