Problems with Best Selling in Shortcodes

I’m using the shortcodes from the official page of woocommerce, but when I add best_selling=”true” or orderby=”popularity” it doesn’t show the products properly and It shows the same products even If I change the order from ASC to DESC.

The “Order by popularity” sorting shows the products based on their sales number.

For example, if you have two products named A and B, and A has 10 sales, while B has 5 sales – then A would show ahead of B when you set the order to “ASC”, while B would show ahead of A when you set the order to “DESC”.

However, this will not be true when the products either do not have any sale, or. have the same sale.

Meaning, if both A and B have 10 sales, then changing the order from “ACS” to “DESC” won’t make any difference in their order.

Can you please check and confirm if the products have different sales?

If the products have different sales, but the shortcode still doesn’t show them in the correct order, then there is likely a conflict on your site. Hi, then this could be a conflict with my site, because the order the shortcode shows the product doesn’t match the sales (example: first product has 2 sales, second 0, third 1, etc).

I’m using storefront, so maybe is a conflict with a plugin, I’ll check it.
