• I have installed and used the free version – is fairly simple to setup. However, the circular images do not properly display in that they have an offset circle about the circular image. In contacting the author he said send me money to upgrade as I will not fix what is supposed to work in the free version.

I have a serious problem in that the product does not seem to work as advertised and the author says he will fix the free version if I pay him to do so – NOT.

Be careful and realize the author will attempt to get you to upgrade from a non-working product and then ‘may’ (my quotes) fix the issue.

Hi Ken, I’m quite surprised about your comment. As many other developers I offer a free version of a WordPress plugin. This free version is fully working but, I can’t assure the compatibility for every single WordPress themes in the world, don’t you think?

The plugin is quote popular, 1700+ downloads in few days, so I can’t assure assistance for all people who downloaded a free version. The MONO version is a paid version that includes 1 year support, what’s wrong with that? I don’t know, but it’s the way me and other thousands of other developers can keep on building new products and offer free versions, instead of simply selling plugins without a free version of them. Agree?

The most surprising thing is that all what I wrote is clearly written in the README file of the free plugin and also on the plugin site, so… why are you surprised?

Now, a grave thing you said is that I asked you to send me money, while it’s not what I said, I’ll write here my answer (that is the standard response for any support request):

thank you for using Circles Gallery. As support is limited to paid licenses I need to ask you the e-mail you used to register and/or the date of the payment. If you’re using the free version you can buy a MONO license for 9,90$ that will unlock more features and it gives you 1 year support.

Also, if you buy a one year support and you’re still not yet fully satisfied with the product you have 30 days to ask a refund.

However, if you want to send me the link of your page with the gallery I’ll give it a look so I can at least say what kind of issue are you facing.

    Dear GreenTreeLabs,

I am facing the same issue that kencooperjr did. I’m using Expositio theme and several customisation.

Would you mind having a look and point me to teh direction to solve the issue by muself ?

    That’d be great.

Jérémy – thanks for your comment as well!
The issues I have are precisely what is shown via your link. I did not furnish a link as I was testing the plugin on my local machine WP install before I went live. Needless to say I did not go live and have not heard from the author since my submission.

Please keep me informed if the author does furnish a solution. Looks like a great product if this bug can be fixed.

    Thanks – Ken
