Sorry if I add something.. This happens also in integration with other plugins. For example, using Special recent posts, then in the title of the posts in the widget we have a similar behavior:

Yet, some plugin authors do not use standard filters and simply do things like

echo $post->...

then there is no cure, just speak to the plugin author and show them what’s going on. Even though we can fix this, our patch will survive only until the next upgrade…
