How do I upload the adhesive.php file to my WordPress plugins directory? Do I need to do this through my webhost’s website?

Can anyone help me with this issue?

You can do it through your webhost’s cpanel or vdeck or plesk or whatever they use.
Easier and quicker to ftp it to:
    wp-content/plugins/
Look in your WP install for the folder – wp-content.
Inside that folder will be a folder – plugins.
    Put adhesive.php in that folder.
    Go to :
admin – > plugins -> scroll down to adhesive and click on activate.
Once activated, edit the post you want to stick to the top. On the right side of the edit/write screen under categories there will be a box to check to make it “sticky”. Check the box and save the post. It will stay at the top of your index until you edit it again and uncheck the sticky box.
    Good luck.
