Problems with accent (on Mac)

    I’ve seen a few people mentioning a similar problem, but they’ve all seemed to have found their solution. Please bear with me.

    My Woocommerce store is in french, and we use accents quite a bit (like é, è, à, etc.) I get my file ready in Excel:Mac 2011, and then save to CSV. Once we upload, it seems to only accept accents in the Description field, whereas it cuts the title at the accent, showing only the portion prior to, and completely deletes the tags showing an accent.

    I’m seeing mentions of an encoding problem, and the more I dig, the more I find that it seems to be an Excel:Mac problem. Has anyone encountered this? Any solutions?

    I’m not a programmer, so please use plain (or as plain as possible) language.
