Problems when I upgraded to 2.12.0

Sorry, deactivate and uninstall the plugin. I’ve got the memory leak fixed. 2.12.1 will be coming out shortly and I’ve added a new test to try and prevent similar issues.

If I uninstall the plugin is that going to cause me to lose the testimonials?

As long as you didn’t check the option in settings, no.

Also, from reading the original post, you’ll need to update your theme’s custom CSS to adapt for the testimonials widget CSS renaming.

I don’t know what any of that means… I originally installed it, left it on defaults and it worked beautifully.. Isn’t there a default that just works?

Ok, I didn’t set it to delete the data in the options so I deleted the plugin, re-installed it when I went to activate it I now get this error message

The plugin does not have a valid header.

Oh wow, I totally did not know about the necessary CSS updates! Yes, those should definitely help. Although it sounds like maybe I should just wait for the 2.12.1 release anyway?

2.12.1 is out now. I’m getting positive responses for the fix.

“valid header” is fixed, there was an accidental second copy of the plugin within the plugin release in SVN.

Please try updating or installing testimonials widget now.

I have updated to version 12.12.1, but still the testimonials are all displayed and not rotating.

I did clear all relevant cache. Is there somewhere I can get the pre-12.12.0 version?
