Problems Using Theme Editor in 2.8.2

  • When I go to use the theme editor to edit any files other than the Style sheet, I get this:

    No, file showing at all. How can I fix this?

  • Try disabling Frontpage extensions on your site.

    I also can’t edit any files other than my stylesheet, although I just get a message that says:

    Cannot process request!

    The server does not support the action requested by the browser.

    If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

    Error 501

    Anyone else??

    Ok, talked to my hosting provider and found the error it was due to a backend upgrade on their part. They have fixed it (“a bad rule in mod_security”) and now everything’s fine.
