    Hi!

All my popups made with Popup Maker use a theme where the popup close button is round, golden yellow and positioned at the top right. Only in the popups where I have inserted a Gravity Form form the close button is displayed at the bottom right, it is rectangular and green in color.

I specify that by removing the Gravity form from the popup, the latter returns to be displayed in the correct way (in line with the theme I use) and that I have already done all the necessary incompatibility tests (I installed a default WordPress Twenty theme and disabled all plugins except Gravity and Popup Maker). It looks like the problem is with Gravity Form when used in a Popup Maker Popup.

I am attaching the following images for greater clarity.
    – The popup BEFORE the Gravity form is inserted with the CORRECT popup close button and in line with the theme used: https://prnt.sc/wlurwr

    – The popup AFTER inserting the Gravity form in which, as you can see, the button is displayed incorrectly (bottom right, in green and rectangular): https://prnt.sc/wluy9y

Could you help me to solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Greetings, Alessandra

    Hi @filippettia

    Thank you for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble with the close button of your popup. I run some test to see if there are conflicts with Popup Maker and Gravity Forms. However, I did not find any errors – https://prnt.sc/wnsmtx

I’m afraid the issue is isolated on your site. May we know if you have caching systems like cache plugins, server cache or CDN? The cache could display a different version of the popup. In case the site has, kindly resave the popup with the gravity form and clear its cache. Then test the page using an incognito window.

Please let us know if this fixes the issue or if the issue is resolved, please take a moment to rate and review the plugin.
If you still need help please message us directly at https://wppopupmaker.com/support/

Hi and thanks for your reply!

I did the checks with the cache you suggested but the problem did not go away.

I continued to do several tests (I thought I was going crazy) then I realized that in the Gravity Form module that I had inserted in the Popup Maker Popup I use an HTLM field with an unclosed tag. I fixed it and now everything seems to work!

I hope it is not a coincidence: what do you think? Could that actually have been the problem?

    Thanks again!

    Greetings, Alessandra.

    Hi @filippettia

    Thank you for getting back!

Yes, without proper closing of HTML tag, the popup or site will not function properly. We are glad you have managed to fix the issue.

By the way, If you have a moment, we would very much appreciate it if you could quickly rate and review the plugin, just to help us spread the word.

    Thank you in advance!
