• I installed Better Search Replace as I had problems arising from gridgosted.co.uk lines in my database. I needed to replace growchiswick.org.gridhosted.co.uk with growchiswick.org. Before running the plugin, I had 58 instances, 1 in wjz8_options, the rest in wjz8_posts. The plugin found and replaced 20 instances. However, searching the database after this reveals 44 instances – 1 and 43, i.e. some seem to have been created. I have screenshots but can’t see how to attach them to this.

A second issue was that the search and replace created a conflict with the wp-forecast plugin, which I use to give a local weather forecast in my homepage. I have deactivated wp-forecast for now. I have a screenshot of the error message that came up.

    So, i have 2 questions:

1 – why did BSR not find all the instances how can I replace them?

2 – how can the conflict with wp-forecast be resolved?

Please bear in mind that I’m a complete amateur, so will struggle with technical stuff. All plugins are up to date & I have the latest version of WordPress.

    Thank you for your help.
