• Hi, I am having some issue with trying to upgrade from PHP 4 to PHP 5.

Some of my posts, not all of them, just some of them are becoming invisible. The headings are still there, but all of the data is not appearing.

I had tried to work on this with my webhost, and there was quite a bit of investigative work done trying to see what was going on. But it was not solved.

I am interested in any suggestions or possible solutions.

I am using only a couple of plugins: blog reordering and a little ecommerce plugin.

    the theme is arthemia.

    Thank you for any assistance.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Hi, I have tried deactivating all plugins. now things are really broken though. Whereas before, the invisible pages came back when switching between PHP 4 and 5, now they are not. I am trying to figure out some work around because it isn’t all the posts, just some of them. I’m not sure how to reset the plugins folder, but I will look into this next. thank you!
