Since the theme options were moved to the customizer I have experienced problems:

    1. When you move a slider by dragging and dropping it, the save and puboish option does not appear. I have to add text to one of the sliders to force this.

    2. When I do this the theme changes to showing the default slides “Minamaze: the ultimate responsive…” etc) and my slider images do not get displayed. I am unable to get back to where it was without doing a full site restore from backups.

Under “Enable Homepage Slider” I have selected “Think up slider” and the images are uploaded and showing under “built-in slider” as normal, just not displaying.

Does anyone know where the command to turn these on or off is located in the theme files or in the database so I can get it turned back on?

    Thanks.

I agree and have the same Problems: Since update with transfer from theme Options to customizer all Content in the slider and in the 3 featured Areas disappeard. Even if I want to reconfigure it and I save and publish it there still doesn’t appear any new Content. Only the minamaze-Default Content. My site is journalcologne.hmkw.de

I also found that the content from the slider fields had been deleted. It only showed as missing when I logged out and back in. I had to manually put it back in. The images were still in the media library so they did not need uploaded again.

To save changes I have to add a blank slide at the end, then the save button appears. I can then save, delete the blank one and save again.

I have checked on three web browsers and it is the same on all of them.

For now my problem is fixed, but it is a step back and worrying that some data was deleted with no apparent action from me.

Thanks for the offer, but I restored from backup.
I think that the issue may be Javascript within the theme functions that have been moved into the customizer. It may be that they are conflicting with something from a plugin – I have seen this happen before – but so far I can’t see anything. The problem is that after dragging and dropping a slider the save button is not clickable.

    Hi gordonhudsonnu,

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll look into this further. With regards to the plugin conflict, you may want to feed any comments back to the plugin developer. All of our themes have been developed in line with WordPress guidelines to minimize risk of conflict. So if a plugin is conflicting, then it’s highly likely that the plugin needs to be updating to correct for the issue.

If there’s anything else Ie can help with please do let us know!

I am still having a problem with customized. I was not able to use customized to upload my slides or to upload images for the featured content. I am using FileZilla. However, I am not able to add any content to the features area because I don’t know where the files are stored. I have used Mozilla Firefox and I can see what files the content should be but when I go to the .php files I can’t find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can add my own content to the featured content sections without using customized since it is not working on my site at all. Or do you know how I can fix customizer. I am stuck…
