    Hi,

I’ve been using Post Snippets in other WordPress hostings. However, in a recently enabled hosting I’ve been unable to save PHP snippets properly. It seems that the behaviour is kind of random: sometimes you’ll be shown the snippet saved message, others you won’t. However I’ve observed that I can only save (and use) “short” snippets. If I try to delete a “non-saveable” snippet, I get a blank page with the “Forbidden” error message. I’ve updated to the last version of WordPress.

I’d appreciate any help regarding this issue. I haven’t found any information regarding this topic so far. Well, maybe something related to hosting setup… but provider states that “everything is ok”.

    Kind regards
    t.

    Dear Mirza,

Thank you for your explanation. In fact, a few hour ago I discovered that the plugin (same version, but older WordPress) works pretty well in another hosting. So, I’m only experiencing the problem in one hosting. Very weird… So I decided to track the problem. I started with a PHP helloworld, it worked… then I added some funcions until I pasted the entire PHP code that was “unsaveable”. At the hosting side (I’ve been working with that new hosting for a week) they say everything is ok… but I discovered they are applying a miriad of “security” filters: including a SQL injection plugin!!! So.. I realised that when I pasted some SQL inside a PHP snippet… that security filter would prevent the form to be upload to WordPress. And yes, this is the problem I was having. Disabled the SQLi filter and everything is ok!

    Kind regards
    t.
