• I’m trying to insert an image for a post on my blog. I have done this several times before with success. But now when I do it, I get the following error message:
“width is null or not an image”.

What can I do? How come the image is not working? I am hosting the image from imageshack.us if that helps. I have also tried to host using tinypic.com and got the same error message.

    Please help.

    Thanks!

What’s the point of WordPress Support if nobody responds?

You are a little bit impatient…
Bumping twice in less than two hours – is considered rude manner and annoys the helpers! It won’t get you a faster answer, on the contrary.

And by bumping your topic – you just successfully removed it from the queue of topics with no reply, where most of the helpers start looking when coming online.

You must be patient until somebody with special knowledge/experience pertaining to your question will show up and answer your question.
Also, be aware, all the helpers around here are volunteers and they have a real life…

    Okay, thanks Moshu!

I have the same problem – – – I CAN′T UPPLOAD IMAGES TO MY BLOG! tnx for any answer.

Yes, thanks Mushu….the issue is still unresolved. LOL

Are you getting some sort of error or what? You need to tell us what is occuring for us to help.

I am not getting thos options…thumbnail/original…blah blah blah…I dont get that when I click the image. In fact, I get redirected to another tab that shows view / edit / cancel….WTF ?

Lots changed since the thread started 4 months ago…

You forgot to mention what version of WordPress you’re using.
Is WTF a new wordpress error or is there a more accurate error you could share with us?
    What browser are you using?

Have you confirmed that your server process is able to write to your wp-content directory?

I am using the latest 2.1.3 I think it is…downloaded yesterday.

how do I confirm that ?

You’ll see the version at the bottom of every page when you’re logged into the admin stuff.

And the rest of my questions?

Like I said 2.1.3. I know where to find that !

Can you please address the issue with the images. The images do not show the thumbnail or use original menue. When I click the image, it instead opens another tab with a edit/view/cancel menu.

    Any ideas?
