Problems Only on Local Network
-
Only an hour ago I posted a thread about some missing text from an article I published. I managed to solve that with some custom CSS. But I now realize the real issue is something deeper. Something is screwy with either something inside WordPress or on my local network causing some strange behavior.
I am on a Mac but don’t think this is a OS X issue since a Windows computer on my Wifi shows same problems.
What happens is when I try and make some changes to edit, update, or publish an article or simply click items on the backend like settings it will result in a completely blank and white browser page as if there is no network connection at all. My website https://gwmac.com looks fine when I connect on LTE from my iPhone so I know this problem is a local network issue but no idea what is causing this to happen.
Here is what I have tried. I turned off the power to my Motorola cable modem and also to my Apple Airport router. That didn’t solve the problem. The same blank screen also shows on my iPad and my iPhone on my wifi network so it is not a problem with my computer. I tried disabling all my plugins but that didn’t work so it is not a plugin problem.
The only thing I am sure of is it is a local network issue. Other than that I am at a loss. After around 3 or more minutes when I refresh my website in the browser it loads normally. But when I try and publish, edit, click backend settings it goes blank again. I will provide any additional info anyone needs to help me troubleshoot.
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
