    Hi,

Is there anyway to make the slider ONLY show the main image (without the additional thumbnails) i.e. the main image takes up the full mobile browser width with arrows to move through the slides on mobile phones?

The slideshow looks OK on desktop, tablet and most mobiles in landscape until it gets down to mobile portrait and then the main image is very small as its sharing the browser width with the thumbnail.

    Thanks,

    Elaine

    Hi Elaine,

Thank you for choosing Master Slider.

You can hide thumbnails with this option:
    https://support.averta.net/en/wp-content/uploads/Hide_thumbnail.jpg

To set that option, go to Master Slider > Slider Controls and select on Thumblist/Tabs button.

If you need any further information, please let me know.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.

    That worked perfectly.

I’ll mark the status as resolved.

    Thanks,

I have the same issue. But I don’t see this option. Is it only available in the premium version?

    Hi ranxx,

No it’s in the free version too.

    1) Click on MasterSlider in admin dashboard
    2) Click on the Slideshow you want to make the changes to (you have to make the change within each slideshow)
    3) Click on Slider Controls
    4) Click on Thumblist/Tabs > Look for “Hide thumblist/tabs for window width less than:” and change to mobile px width (this means only the main image will show – thumbnails will be hidden)
    5) Click on Bullets > “Hide bullets for window width less than:” and change to mobile px width (bullets will be hidden) OR
    6) You can hide the arrows by clicking on Arrows and making changes to the settings in this section.

    Hope this helps.

Awesome. Thanks for the quick and helpful reply. The issue now is it doesn’t suck up the space above the slider where the thumbs used to be. In other words I have the slider under a sub head – in a browser the slider is about 20px below the sub head. But when it goes to mobile and loses the thumbs there is about 160px between the sub head and the slider. Then the buttons are also way below the slider.
I’m assuming I can fix it using the @media screen and (max-width css but is there another way that won’t require I make the @media screen and (max-width css?

    thanks,

    Hi ranxx,

This wasn’t the same for me as the thumbnails were to the side of the main image rather than on top.

You could try, as you’ve suggested, some CSS but I would also post a new ticket as there maybe another way to do this through the settings.

    Kind regards,

    Elaine
