• Some months ago a testing wp site (NewSite.example.com) was moved to NewSite.com in the same server, not in a good way.
Testing site wasn’t removed until today and then NewSite.com loads partially: main page loads only its header.
Log file does not display any kind of error.
Url and paths seem to be okay
    What do you suggest?
    Thank you

  • It sounds like you had migration issues and a few files were missed, do you have a backup of your NewSite.example.com?

    Hi Lindsay,

I installed a plugin (don’t remember because I’m not in my desk) to search an replace old uri references by the new one. I also created deleted subsomain (apache, dns+ confs) and copy all new www content to that subdomain public dir I used to use it as sandbox.
After that, main content was loaded okay.
I have to find out which of those actions ‘fixed’ the issue.
I’ll post again with more info.
    Thank you

    Hello,

I had run Velvet Blues Update URLs to change old to new urls.
I found that disabling NewSite.example.com NewSite.com does load partially again. It only loads header and footer.
So there stll are some bad (old) references
mysql table wp_option option_name siteurl is okay
    What else can I check/correct?
    Thank you

Edit: When I enable NewSite.example.com I inspect html source of NewSite.com main page and there’s an img src containing old url instead of the new one.
Multimedia gallery displays the new url for this image.
I don’t know where does this reference comes from.

Edit 2: I downloaded that image and uploaded it again to get the url changed
