• The option to hide the admin bar is not working in WordPress 3.6. Under “Global options”, I have deactivated the Admin Bar for all users. When I save the changes, I still see the raw HTML links at the top of the page in wp-admin. It’s showing all the links from the admin bar, without any CSS formatting, like so:

  • Same issue here. For now I’m just using the Admin Bar Remover plugin, which it leasts gets rid of the Admin Bar on the front end.

Same exact issue. it takes up nearly 3/4 of a page….

Until the plugin author issues a fix, I’ve gotten around this by hiding every element in the “admin bar (beta)” section. That seems to hide it well enough.

    Hi Pguale…

What do you mean by hiding every element in the admin bar beta section?

I apologize, but I’m kind of a novice at these things but would like to try and implement a fix.

    Thank you kindly.

If you go into Settings>Adminimze, there is a section for “Admin Bar Options – Beta”. If you want to hide the admin bar completely, you can check the deactivate box for every option for Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor, etc. That gets rid of the remaining admin bar.

It still shows up on the Adminimize page, but if you click off that, it’s now hidden.

    Thank you, mate!

    hi, same problem here!!
