    We use MarketPress for our online shop and have been experiencing some issues lately with customers not being able to confirm their payment (no error is provided, it just keeps refreshing the Confirm Order page with their cart and shipping/billing info).

    Also, some orders that do go through are not displaying complete information when they’re transmitted to our shop. For example, the first and/or last name doesn’t show up, no shipping/billing info shows up on the order, etc.

    What is causing these issues, and how do I go about correcting them so we have correct orders and customers stop having to find alternate ways to place their orders??

    Do you have any caching plugin enabled?
    Is your site perhaps behind a firewall or using a reverse proxy such as Varnish, Squidd, NginX or anything similar?

    Hi aristath,

    I don’t think there are any caching plugins enabled…the only plugins that are installed and activated are MarketPress, Jetpack, WordPress HTTPS, and WordPress Importer.

    I don’t know what the reverse proxies are, so I doubt any of those are being used. How would I be able to tell if the site is behind a firewall?

    Hi @akirchner,

    Can you try disabling the other plugins and seeing if the problem goes away then? Particularly I would disable Jetpack and WordPress HTTPS but I suspect Jetpack is more likely to be causing issues.

    I’ll try disabling some things, namely Jetpack. I think we need WordPress HTTPS for our security though? It may be a little bit before I can confirm whether or not this has had any positive effect, as these problems seem to be occurring at random. Many orders go through just fine, and then we’ll hit a snag again where someone’s info doesn’t show up or they can’t finalize the order. I’ll give this a shot though and report back.

    We haven’t had any other issues as of yet, so I’m not sure. They never seemed to be happening with any regularity before, so it’s still kind of a waiting game. Hopefully it’s resolved after I deactivated Jetpack!
