Problems attempting to close zip file

    Hi!

    I’ve just installed UpdraftPlus on a clients WordPress site and in clicking the “Backup Now” button, the backup is hanging and the last log message is going back and forth displaying the following two messages:

    Binary zip: error (code: 14 – look it up in the Diagnostics section of the zip manual at https://www.info-zip.org/mans/zip.html for interpretation… and also check that your hosting account quota is not full) (Jun 17 21:36:20)

    And then…

    Adding batch to zip file (UpdraftPlus_BinZip): over 200 Mb added on this batch (273 Mb, 9755 files batched, 1 (2054) added so far); re-opening (prior size: 235277.2 Kb) (Jun 17 21:36:38)

    The host server (VPS) has tons of space. When I checked the server location via FTP (where it’s generating the backup files), I see two zip files (themes.zip and plugins.zip) and then an uploads.zip.tmp file that appears to be growing in size, but the UP progress bar in the WordPress CP doesn’t appear to have moved at all in a couple hours.

    Hi,

    Please can you provide a link to your log file for the problematic backup? (You can download it from the “Existing Backups” tab of your UpdraftPlus settings page).

    It’ll be too long to paste into the forum here, but you can download it to your computer, and share it with Dropbox, or paste it in pastebin.com, or any similar service, and post the link here.

    Thank you for the fast reply, David! I’ve just recently been assigned to this site and was just informed that this particular site is NOT on a VPS, so it might actually be a space issue. I’ll respond later if that isn’t the case!! Again, thank you for the response. Updraft is part of my regular must-haves on every site and has served us well!! ??
